Obituary: Lorie J. Pierce

Lorie J. Pierce, age 47, of Cazenovia, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021. She was born on March 17, 1974 in Mauston, WI, the daughter of Gary R. and Bonnie L. (Greenwood) Kastner. Lorie enjoyed riding motorcycles, puzzles, cooking, baking, and was in a dart league in Cazenovia. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and hanging out with friends at the bar.

Lorie was preceded in death by her father, Gary Kastner.

She is survived by her mother, Bonnie Mortimer of LaValle; fiancé Brian Thew of Cazenovia; children Daniel Kastner (Blake Nelson) of Lyndon Station, Lee Anne Pierce of Reedsburg, and Brianne (Ian) Honer of Reedsburg; grandchildren Taralynn, Spencer and Conner Honer; sisters and brothers Sherry Putz (Kole Wollin) of Ironton, Jason (Marife) Mortimer of LaValle, Jeff Mortimer Jr. of New Lisbon, and Jill Mortimer (Shaun McDonough) of LaValle; special cousin Robert Greenwood of LaValle; dear friend Rick Weihert of Reedsburg; several nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Lorie will be held at a later date.

The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family.
