Obituary: Patricia A. Rockweiler

Patricia A. Rockweiler, age 78, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on July 26, 1942, in Reedsburg, the daughter of Hubert and Marjorie (Carroll) Jax. Patricia graduated from Weston High School in 1960. She married Stanley Rockweiler on Sept. 8, 1975, at St. Anthony Church in Germantown.

Patricia was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Cottage Grove. She worked as an administrative assistant at Cottage Grove Bank for 15 years. Patricia enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Packers and Broncos fan. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, bird watching and listening to music. She especially liked Dixieland and enjoyed going to Jazz festivals. Patricia was a loving wife, mother and sister.

Patricia is survived by her husband; daughter, Doria (Lee) Dahl; brother, Joe (Judy) Jax; brother-in-law, Gary (Jackie) Rockweiler; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Mary (Bob) Christ.
