Obituary: Donald L. Dyke

Donald L. Dyke, age 95, of Reedsburg, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was born on July 8, 1925 in Spring Green, WI, the son of Norman and Blanche (Fiske) Dyke. On June 29, 1944 he was united in marriage to Lucille M. Turner. She preceded him in death on the same day a year ago, November 21, 2019. They farmed in rural Spring Green for many years and earned the status of owning a Century Farm. He also enjoyed his Allis Chalmers tractors. Donald was a member of the Church of God in Reedsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Donna Dyke.

Donald is survived by his grandson David Dyke (Brandee Douglas) of Reedsburg; granddaughter Dawn (Jeff) Boettcher of Philipsburg, MT; great-granddaughters Paige and Kailee Dyke; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Donald and Lucille Dyke will be held at a later date.

The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family.
