Edwin C. Meixelsperger Edwin C. Meixelsperger, age 81 of Lone Rock, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Richland Hospital. He was born on February, 25, 1940, in Plain, the son of Clemens and Clara (Ruhland) Meixelsperger. Edwin grew up in Plain. He was the owner and cheesemaker of the Penn Hollow Cheese Company in Clyde for over 30 years. He liked cars, watching the Brewers, playing cards especially Euchre, and listening to polka music. Survivors include his wife, Adela; three daughters, Nancy (Jay) Gavin, Kim (Andrew) Jorgensen, Kathy Zweifel; three step-children, Julieta Campbell, Belen Lindner, Evelyn Grigsby; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Evalyn Bindl; and brother, Kenneth (Heidi) Meixelsperger; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; son, Jeff Meixelsperger; brothers, Chris, Harold, Delbert, Duane Meixelsperger; sister, Dorothy Alt; brothers-in-law, Ralph Bindl, Freddie Van Aker, and Cletus Alt. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lone Rock with burial in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Spring Green.
