David D Meixelsperger David D Meixelsperger, age 51, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at JFK Hospital in Florida. David was born to Dave and Darlene (Johnson) Meixelsperger on December 26, 1969, in Richland Center. He graduated from River Valley in 1988 and shortly after moved to Florida where he and his spouse owned and operated two successful salons, David & Co and Salon David. The salon employees became his Florida family and they had a mutual love for each other. Even the clients said that David went out of his way to make each one feel special.  David inherited his love for family from his mom and his story telling from his dad. His smile could light up a room, and he had the most infectious laugh. Although he lived far away, he cherished the time spent on his visits home. After a long day at the salon, you would find him cuddled up on the couch with his furbabies, Kiki and Rocky, glued to the Hallmark channel since Christmas was his favorite time of year. David is survived by his parents, siblings Dean, Doreen (Curt) Laack; niece Kristina and nephews Curtis and Walker; plus a vast number of family members. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Luke’s Church in Plain on Wednesday, December 29, at 11 a.m. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
