Sauk Prairie School District drops mask requirement

Sauk Prairie School District’s summer school programs will look different in the COVID-19 era, as masks are now optional inside buildings. At the recommendation of Superintendent Jeff Wright, the board chose to go maskless. Significantly, the area within the boundaries of the District has had no new cases in the past week. Wright emphasized the District will always have the option of rolling back to more restrictive measure, in the event of more cases. He noted that with the new guidelines, there’s flexibility where an entire classroom or school wouldn’t have to be closed.
