Wisconsin Heights report card: ”exceeds expectations”

District report cards from the state for Wisconsin Heights are in and the district scored high in the rankings. According to District Administrator Jordan Sinz, “[Wisconsin Heights] students performed well on the state assessments that were given during the 20-21 school year. They achieved in the top 16% of districts in the state and showed growth in the top 18% of the schools statewide.” As a whole, the district earned a score of 76.1 out of 100, earning a four-star rating and “exceeding expectations.” The “growth” category proved to be the best for the district, with a 90.7 score in English language arts against a state average of 66. In mathematics the district was just at the state average, scoring 64.1 against the state’s 66. In the “achievement” category, the English language arts category was again good for the district. Wisconsin Heights scored 75 against the state’s average of 61.4. The district scored well in mathematics as well, hitting 69.2 versus the state average of 59.4. In the “on track to graduation” category, the district scored a 90.8 compared to the state average of 87.  Across the board, two schools “exceed” expectations, and one “meets” expectations. Sinz commented, “As a district, we are proud of our learning during the 20-21 school year, given the myriad of challenges we faced. This is a testament to our students, their families, and our staff.  All three buildings used a benchmark assessment this fall to set student learning goals for the 21-22 school year.”
