Mean Girls makes for a colorful show

The WI Heights High School Drama Club’s production of Mean Girls was a smashing success! Students shared an important message of compassion, empathy, and acceptance with sold-out or nearly full audiences on March 10, 11, and 12, 2023. The show featured talented students in grades 9-12 (both on stage and behind the scenes), a live band (made up of local community members), video projected background scenes, and a hearing loop for people with hearing loss. The high school version of this Broadway-originated script was made available for the first time in fall of 2022, making audiences and participants some of the first in the country.
