Kevin G. Webe

Lodi--Kevin G. Weber, age 62, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Agrace Hospice Care after a hard-fought battle with a recent illness.  He was born on February 2, 1962, in Lake City, MN, the son of the late Kenneth and Lois (Gravenish) Weber. After graduating from Lincoln High School, Lake City, MN., Kevin attended UW-Eau Claire where he met the love of his life, Lexine Porubsky, on the marching band field. He continued his education earning his bachelor’s degree in music education from UW-Oshkosh.  Kevin and Lexine were married on December 29, 1988, in Madison, WI.  For over 15 years, Kevin was the Director of the Sauk Prairie Ambulance Association. During his tenure, this included the building of their new ambulance facility. He was able to serve on various emergency management and first responder boards in Sauk, Columbia, and Dane Counties. Kevin was able to repair, build, or program most anything around his home and for others. He was also known for his master grilling skills and judging various BBQ competitions. Above all, Kevin’s true passion was his music, whether it was listening to, performing, teaching, or recording. He volunteered countless hours teaching drum lessons and was proud of all the musicians he mentored over the years. Most recently you could hear him performing with The Bushmen or The Driftless Ramblers throughout the area.  In addition to his wife Lexine, survivors include his daughters, Amanda Weber and Dr. Elizabeth (Zachary) Endres; his son, Nicholas Weber; two sisters, Joan (Mark) Steffenhagen and Diane (Scott) Nelson; his brother-in-law Joseph (Marion) Porubsky; and other relatives and many friends, especially David and Diane Eberdt.  Memorial Service will be held at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 258 Lodi St, Lodi, at 11 am on Thursday, July 11, 2024, with Rev Ellen Keyser presiding.  Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main St., Lodi, from 5 pm until 7 pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, and also at church from 10 am until the time of the service on Thursday. The family would like to extend many thanks to the staff at Agrace Hospice Care for their wonderful care of Kevin at home and at their inpatient facility.
