Arena--Scott G. Pope, age 77, of Arena was called home, after a brief illness at UW Hospital in Madison, on Friday, April 5, 2024, the two-year anniversary of his father’s death. He was born March 23, 1947, to the late Dale and Lillian (Brager) Pope. Scott attended elementary school at the one room Ray Hollow School.
Merrimac/Sauk Prairie--Ronald John Peetz, age 78, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Merrimac, WI on Sat. night, Mar. 30, 2024. Ron was born July 13, 1945 to the late Walter and Evelyn (Borgrud) Peetz. He was a graduate of the last Prairie du Sac high school class of 1963. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army reserve.
John Hanusa, age 88, passed away peacefully at his home in Celeste, TX on March 27, 2024. He was born to George and Emilia (Kile) Hanusa on January 25, 1936, in Loganville, WI. John was a graduate of Reedsburg High School and served in the Air National Guard. He would later go on to graduate from Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Kent Hindes, beloved husband of Sue Hindes of 19 years, passed away on February 28, 2024 peacefully in his sleep after a long courageous battle of cancer with Sue by his side. He leaves behind his wife Susan Hindes (Baraboo), his mother Ruth Hindes (Baraboo), four God children and many nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Daniel H. Peterson, age 70, of Reedsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2024, on his farm. He was born on November 16, 1953, in Reedsburg, WI, the oldest son of Harley and Mildred (Hemberger) Peterson. Dan was a 1971 graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg.
