Black Earth--Pauline A. Splittgerber, age 84, of Black Earth, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Heartland Country Village. She was born on June 11, 1939, in Rondout, Ill., the daughter of Paul and Jesse (Wilson) Miller.
Barbara Louise (Fairall) Eveland of Sauk City passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, at the age of 76 with her husband by her side. She was born August 4, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Melanie M. Nordahl, age 35, of Reedsburg, passed away at home on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was born on October 25, 1988 in Baraboo to David R. Bergman and Dawn Marie Nordahl.
William G. Walsh (Willie), age 79, of Holmen, formerly of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 20, 1944, in Baraboo, WI the son of Harold J. and Cecilia (Leece) Walsh. Bill attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School and was a graduate of Baraboo High School.
Tristan L. Clark, age 21, of LaValle, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 6, 2024 in Augusta, Richmond County Georgia, after he was hit by another driver on his beloved motorcycle. He was born on October 27, 2002, the son of Randy L. Clark and Sarah M Horstmann.
Mary A. Pertzborn, age 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep April 8, 2024. Mary was a long time resident of the Reedsburg Senior Life Center. In the early dawn of the recent solar eclipse, Mary was soon found by staff to have passed away. She fought a stoic battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Mary remained strong through her battle.

James A. Roecker, age 78, passed away peacefully at home April 6, 2024, after a brief struggle with an aggressive cancer. He was born on March 8, 1946, in Reedsburg, WI, the son of Wilbert and Monica (Haugh) Roecker. Jim was a 1964 graduate of Reedsburg High School and subsequently the UW Farm Short Course.

He was born on Sept. 20, 1945, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, the son of Ruth Marie (Norland) Goldben and Norman Gilman Goldben. He was baptized and confirmed at East Blue Mounds Lutheran Church in rural Mount Horeb
