On January 17, 2025, Eunice Fern (Sloniker) Rabuck departed from us to meet her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Fern was the first born to her loving parents, John P. Sloniker and Doris (Mortimer) Sloniker, on April 9, 1928, Henrietta Township, Richland County, Wisconsin.
Marcia L. Roessler, age 63, of Rock Springs, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at her home. She was born to Lucille (Doug Hoy) and James Spencer on February 22, 1961.
Judith A. Liegel, age 81, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on June 25, 1943, on the Westerman farm, rural Ironton. The family then moved to Reedsburg. She is the daughter of Arnold and Emma (Burmester) Westerman.
They met at the door of the Paul Bunyan Room of the UW Memorial Union on Wednesday evening, November 1, 1944, two UW freshmen. Helen Ann Wood was a beautiful nursing student from Neenah, volunteering as the hostess for a USO canteen for the military.
Sally M. Mikulecky, age 73, of Wisconsin Dells, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born on November 21, 1951, in Racine, WI, the daughter of Ralph and Shirley (Heinrich) Diedrich. On June 27, 1981, she was united in marriage to Thomas E.
Robert L. McWilliams, age 94, of LaValle, formerly of Reedsburg, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, on the family farm. He was born on October 17, 1930, the oldest son of Harvey and Vera (Pugh) McWilliams. Bob attended grade school in LaValle and was a member of the Reedsburg High School Class of 1949.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Gerald (Jerry) Oscar Mittelstadt, who left us on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the age of 87, following a heart attack at the U.W. Hospital.
Kenneth A. Fry, age 72, of LaValle, WI, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family following a valiant battle with heart failure. He was born on August 29, 1952, in Chicago, IL, the son of Robert H. and Laverne L. (Robinson) Fry. Ken proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
