Carl Robert Cook, born July 23, 1982, won a courageously long fought and difficult five and a half year battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully in his home on February 21, 2024.

Martin Joseph Bulin, of rural LaValle, passed away on February 14, 2024, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was 92 years old.

Helen M. Blue, age 81 of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 4, 2024. She was born August 13, 1942, daughter of Lawrence Blue and Margaret King. She is loved by many nieces and nephews who will deeply miss her. Online condolences may be made at www.grassefs.com.

Eileen Kay Muchow, age 73, of Plain, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024. She was born on April 10, 1950, the daughter of Webster Walter William and Jean (Meske) Schwanke. Eileen was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Leland. She was employed by Lands’ End in Reedsburg.

Edith Burkhalter, age 93 years, of La Valle, WI, died February 15, 2024 peacefully at home after a brief illness. She was born January 23, 1931 to Clifford and Vera (Sonnenberg) Walter in Mauston. Attended Alton Country School, through the eighth grade. Edith and Hugh G. Hepp were married June 15, 1949 in Mauston.

Bertha Sarah Elwood, age 98, formally of Lime Ridge, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 11, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on August 7, 1925 in the town of Ironton, Sauk County, youngest child of Albert Ihde and Virginia (Smith) Ihde.

Sybil G. Thompson, age 90, of Reedsburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center. She was born on May 24, 1933, in Snohomish, WA, the daughter of William and Ada (Brooks) Crowley. She graduated from High School in Everett, WA. Sybil furthered her education as a CNA, an LPN and EMT.

Sheryl Kay Neely of Las Vegas passed away on her 63rd birthday, October 23, 2023, at Mountain View Hospital Sheri was born on October 23, 1960 to Harland and Judy (Dumer) Herritz (now Judy Mainor), in Reedsburg, WI. Sheri attended St Peter’s Lutheran grade school and graduated from Webb High School in 1979.
