Lorraine was born on October 7th, 1919 in Delton, Wisconsin to William & Mrytle Weidling.
She married the love of her life Fancis Esser on April 11th, 1979 in Fairborn, Ohio.
MOUNT HOREB – James “Jim” Wirts, age 62, of Mount Horeb, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in Mount Horeb. He was born on Feb. 10, 1959, in Dodgeville, the son of James and Donna (Swenson) Wirts. He married Luann Eggimann on July 19, 2020.
Sally Jones, 76, of Reedsburg, beloved wife, mother and sister, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021, with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Philip H. “Mort” Grosskrueger, age 86, of Reedsburg, died on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Casa de Oakes in Reedsburg. He was born on May 27, 1934 in the Town of Westfield, Sauk County, the son of Herman and Margaretha (Garske) Grosskrueger. Phil was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the U.S. Army.
Joanne L. Stark, age 79, of Baraboo, died on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Wisconsin Dells Health Services. She was born on January 24, 1942 in Reedsburg, the daughter of Harold and Arleen (Massman) Hahn. Joanne attended Loganville Elementary School, Open View Country School and was a graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg in 1960.
Hayden D. Groy, age 92, passed away February 17, 2021. The son of Herman C. and Dora (Beuster) Groy was born December 10, 1928 in Kewanee, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946-1948 at MacArthur’s Headquarters in Tokyo.
Daekwon Marques Shelley, age 21, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Mazomanie, Wisconsin, and Wisconsin Heights High School passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2021.
Cheryl Ann Vehling, age 64 of Baraboo, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 surrounded by family, at St. Mary’s hospital, after a 6 month battle with kidney cancer.
Cheryl was born September 7th,1956 in Sauk City the daughter of Eugene (Fin) and Carol (Zantow) Fisher.
BLACK EARTH/REEDSBURG - Duane Alfred Obright, age 84, of Black Earth, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. He was born on March 31, 1936, in Black Earth, the son of Alfred and Verna (Schultz) Obright.
