BLACK EARTH/REEDSBURG - Duane Alfred Obright, age 84, of Black Earth, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. He was born on March 31, 1936, in Black Earth, the son of Alfred and Verna (Schultz) Obright.
Shirley Elaine (Bass) Hasheider of rural Sauk City was born April 17, 1926 to Floyd K. and Irene L. (Kleiner) Bass in the Town of Sumpter. Their family moved to the Town of Troy in March, 1942 after being evicted from their Sumpter home by the Badger Army Ordnance Works.
Shirley Ann (Theisen) Reutter, age 82, of Findlay, Ohio passed into the arms of our loving Lord on Tuesday, Feb 16, 2021. Shirley was born in Roxbury, Wisconsin to the late Wilfred and Genevieve (Ballweg) Theisen.
BLACK EARTH – Esther Katherine Handell, age 92, of Black Earth, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on March 4, 1928, in Arena, the daughter of Patrick and Regina (Demby) Power.
On Thursday, February 18, 2021, Syvilla Valera Rego, of Reedsburg, at the age of 89, peacefully passed. She was born in Loganville, WI. to Anna (Ribbke) and Henry Horstmann. As she grew up in Rock Springs she had many responsibilities as she was the oldest of 12.
Mary D. Angus, age 54, of Reedsburg, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on August 14, 1966 in Illinois, the daughter of Fred T. and Ellen (Blanchette) Combs. On October 10, 1986, she was united in marriage to James Lee Angus in Milwaukee, WI.
Larry A. Meyer, age 71 of Reedsburg, went to his heavenly home Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Meriter Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 8, 1949 to Emil and Gertrude Biddle Meyer in Medford, WI. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Larry married Betty Stando on January 2, 1999.
Ernest R. Schnoor age 81, of Reedsburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. He was born on May 4, 1939 in Ford County, Illinois, the son of Anton W. and Florence (Schuette) Schnoor. On May 21, 1960, he was united in marriage to Evelyn I. Richard. This marriage was blessed with two children.
