Loretta C. King, age 94, of Reedsburg, formerly of LaValle, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center. She was born on February 23, 1927 in Glenview, IL, the daughter of John and Josephine (Eberlein) Kufeldt. On October 9, 1948 she was united in marriage to James C. King.

Lillian “Carol” Peper, age 78, of Loganville, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. She was born on January 29, 1943, in Adams County, WI, the daughter of James and Victoria (Dampier) Quimby. She graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 1961. After graduation she moved to Janesville, where she met the love of her life, Frederick Peper.

Kevin W. Johnston, age 71, of Reedsburg, died on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from injuries sustained in a farm tractor accident. He was born on September 9, 1949 in Reedsburg, the son of Melvin and Virginia (Warwick) Johnston. Kevin was a 1967 graduate of Weston High School. On August 29, 1969, he was married to the former Sharon J. Schultz.

We celebrate the Homegoing of Joann D. Wright as she crossed the finish line and entered Glory on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021. Joann was beloved by all and was a brilliant witness in her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Michelle B. Gilkeson, age 44, of Baraboo, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison surrounded by her family. She was born on October 5, 1976 in Richland Center, WI, the daughter of Michael D. and Deborah S. (Esser) Gilkeson. Michelle enjoyed taking care of kids, listening to music, and cleaning.

Linda M. Lewis, age 90, of Reedsburg, went to be with God on Monday, May 17, 2021. She was in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on December 22, 1930 in Ontario, WI, the daughter of Wesley and Gracie (Thomas) Winchel.

Patricia G. Gerke, age 86, of North Freedom, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the University Hospital in Madison. She was born on July 14, 1934 in North Freedom, the daughter of Kermit and Martha (Apker) Hinz. On December 26, 1953 she was united in marriage to Duane C. Gerke. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2020.

James Walter D’Ambrosio, 53, of Reedsburg, Wis., formerly of Wheaton, Ill., died Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Kevin W. Johnston, age 71, of Reedsburg, died on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from injuries sustained in a farm tractor accident.
