Carla Ann Krohn, age 84, of Reedsburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Our House Assisted Living in Wisconsin Dells. She was born on July 5, 1939, in Sauk City, WI, the daughter of LaVern and Arlene (Miller) Marquardt. On April 20, 1968, Carla was united in marriage to Charles Martin Krohn.

Wayne Carl Hanusa, age 83, passed away at Maplewood Nursing Home, Sauk City on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024.  He was born at home in Loganville on May 3, 1940 to the late Henry H. and Elvadore D. (Hamburg) Hanusa.  He was united in marriage to Eleanor I. Schmidt on May 11, 1965 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Reedsburg. 

Lawrence “Red” Geitz, age 89, of LaValle passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Case De Oakes Assisted Living in Reedsburg, WI. He was born October 6, 1934 in Wauzeka, WI to the late Charles and Clara (Manglos) Geitz.

Our husband, dad, papa, and great-papa, Jerry G. Kast passed into eternal life at home on the farm, on the morning of January 20, 2024, following a brief illness. He was born November 26, 1952, to George and Molly (Fargen) Kast.

Alice Hofstad, 84, of Battle Lake, MN peacefully passed January 10th at Suite Living, Brooklyn Park, Mn. 

Larry S. Rich, age 68, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 9, 1955, in Baraboo, WI, the son of Caryl “Pat” and Grace (Mahner) Rich. Larry was a 1974 graduate of Baraboo High School.

Michael Roy Schonfeld, 75, of Duluth, Minnesota and Reedsburg, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, January 5th, 2024, after a brief, gracefully-walked journey with liver cancer. He was surrounded by a holy blanket of love from his family, and the promise in Christ of reunion with his loving and mysterious Creator.

Virginia M. Smith, age 87, of Hillpoint, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 16, 1936, the daughter of Harold and Margaret D. (Goetsch) Erdmann. Virginia was baptized on April 26, 1936, and confirmed in her faith on June 5, 1949, in St.

Donald Lee Hull, age 89, of Reedsburg, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the Middleton Village Nursing Home in Middleton, WI. He was born on October 21, 1934, in Hannibal, MO, to Elmer and Helen (Thomas) Hull. Donald served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1957 until 1963 as a cook.

Mary Lou Sigler-Quigley, 69, heartbreakingly passed away on December 20, 2023, in Rockford, Illinois. Born on March 17, 1954, in Morris, Illinois daughter to Robert and Esther (Kleinberg) Krug. Mary started her working career as a florist, which truly showed her artistic and designing abilities that she carried with her throughout her life.
