Rennetta M. Freel

Rennetta M. Freel, age 89 of Spring Green, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on July 24, 1936 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Fred and Clara “Nan” (Gable) De Rose. She was married to Gerald Freel on November 28, 1953. Rennetta worked at the House on the Rock as the lead walker and was the secretary at Tri-County Heating with Gerald. In her free time, she loved to read and garden. She is survived by her three sons, Jeffrey (Sharon) Freel, Eric Freel, and Jason Freel; five grandchildren, Sabrina (Dan) Talajkowski, Brian (Amanda) Freel, Amanda Freel (Aaron Buroker), Erica Freel and Sam Freel; great grandchildren, Alysa and Kyla Talajkowski, Thomas and Hunter Freel; and great-great grandchild, Abednego; in-laws, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; parents, Fred and Clara “Nan”; siblings, Alan De Rose, Lynette Wiser, and Jerry De Rose. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home in Spring Green from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. with burial to follow in the Spring Green Cemetery.
