Richard Allen Jensen

Richard Allen Jensen, age 74, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, after an illness with Lung Cancer.  He was born February 25, 1951, to Ervin and Cleone (Wasley) Jensen.  He lived his entire life in Lone Rock.  He started in the construction business by working for Rollie Stoddard.  They built many houses of the Frank Lloyd Wright design.  Later, he ran his own construction business.  Then Richard & Marilyn owned and operated River Rock Mobile Village in Lone Rock.  

Anyone who knew Richard knew he could build or repair anything, and he did that for many people.  Also, teaching them how to fix things for themselves.  There was just one thing he could not fix, and that was this illness.  Richard was interested in history, archaeology and enjoyed landscaping work.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. 

Richard married Marilyn Post on September 2, 1978.  They enjoyed 55 years of fun together, and with family and friends.

He leaves behind his wife, Marilyn, many wonderful Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins on both sides of his family.  Brothers-in-law, Ernest Post, James Post, Mike Post, and Fred Kritz; Sisters-in-law, Luann (Carl) Custer and Mary Ann Post.  

He is preceded in death by his entire family, parents, Ervin and Cleone Jensen; Sisters Freda, Phyllis, Fern, Carol, Thelma, Karen, and a brother, Billy; his beloved grandparents, Bill and Anne Jensen, Bill and Helena Wasley; In-Laws, Douglas and Marcella Post; brother-in-law, Rodney Post; sisters-in-law, Donna and Carolyn Post; and a nephew, Jeremy Post.

Funeral Services will be held at Clary Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 12:30 PM with Ron Fruit officiating, with visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of services.  Burial will follow in the Avoca Cemetery.  www.clarymemorialfuneralhome.com
