Obituary: Raymond Leroy Frankfourth

Raymond Leroy Frankfourth 87, of LaValle Township passed away Sunday November 3, 2024 at his residence.

Raymond was born June 26, 1937 in Catawba, WI to the late Fred E. and Mary Opal (Prather) Frankfourth.

Ray was an incredible man. An inventor. A relentless tinkerer. A builder. A problem-solver. He found beauty and purpose in every person, and everything.  He built the best fires, forever keeping his family warm.  He repurposed everything.  He was a charming chatter—always keeping people on the phone just a little bit longer.

He gave the best hugs on the planet.  He encouraged optimism and imagination. Jump in the lake! Run in the woods! Look at the stars! Build something! Go snipe hunting!

On November 3, 2024, this man of heart and soul passed away. He was 87 years old. He lived a long and beautiful life. He is survived by his unimaginably strong wife, Fay. By his children, Christine, Sharon, and Scott. By his sons-in-law, Andrew and Karl. By his grandchildren, Magen, Jason, Linda, James, and Sean. By his great grandchildren, Destiny, TJ, and Logan.

In this moment of loss, the family finds comfort knowing that he will be reunited with his son, Terry. His brothers, Robert and George. His sister, Nancy. His parents, Fred and Opal.

Rest easy, our ray of light. And please stay out of trouble.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
