Pauline A. Splittgerber

Black Earth--Pauline A. Splittgerber, age 84, of Black Earth, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Heartland Country Village. She was born on June 11, 1939, in Rondout, Ill., the daughter of Paul and Jesse (Wilson) Miller. She married James Splittgerber on June 11, 1977, in Mt. Horeb. Pauline worked as a bookkeeper for Symdon Motors in Mt. Horeb for many years. She loved flower gardening and canning items grown in their garden. Pauline is survived by; son, Chad (Andrea) Anderson; daughter, Shellia (Jon) Summers; grandchildren, Brandon and Aaron Summers, Wesley (Angela) and Cael Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Raiden Summers and Nadia Kittle; and her sisters, Aline and Linda. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Splittgerber; her parents; brother, Lonnie; sister, Rona; and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth and her brother- in-law, George.
