Ralph Leo Patterman
Ralph Leo Patterman, age 92, of Spring Green, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Veterans Hospital in Madison. He was born on February 1, 1931, in Cloverdale, Illinois, on the farm the son of Joseph and Mary (Kames) Patterman. Ralph was married on July 2, 1954, to the former D. Joanne Baldwin. Ralph was in the United States Army where he served from 1952 -1954 in the Korean War. He liked to play any card game. Ralph loved watching the Green Bay Packers. He picked up golf after retirement and got a hole in one. He was a life long farmer and raised beef cattle and hogs. Ralph is survived by his wife, Joanne; two sons, Ron (Jennifer) Patterman, Gary (Sherri) Patterman; four grandchildren, Zach (Kristina) Patterman, Aly (James Ehle) Patterman, Brandi (Nick) Workman, Amber (Colt) Lang; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Andy Patterman; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Patterman, June Patterman; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tony and Joe Patterman; two sisters, Bea Petitjean and Ceal Gardner. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Spring Green Cemetery where military graveside rights will be conducted by the Spring Green American Legion Post #253. Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
