Sharon Ann Mercer Sharon Ann Mercer, age 83 of Lone Rock, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Pine Valley Healthcare Center following a brief illness.  She was born on July 24, 1940, the daughter of Orin and Stella (Jones) Olson.  Sharon grew up in Prairie du Chien and was married on April 9, 1960, to Kenneth E. Mercer. Survivors include her children, Dawn (Terry) Sprecher of Viola, Steve Mercer of Muscoda; grandson, Ben (Haylie) Sprecher of Muscoda; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Axel Sprecher; a sister, Joyce (Dean) Craun or Arizona; three brothers-in-law, Milo Mercer of Lone Rock, Jerry Mercer of Fennimore, Paul Hartwick of Richland Center; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Orin and Stella Olson; her husband, Ken Mercer; a grandson, Frank Sprecher; brothers, Gary Olson, Roger Olson; and  sisters, Yvonne Olson and Donna Hartwick. A family memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
