Monica J. (Kraemer) Radel Monica J. (Kraemer) Radel, age 87 of Spring Green, passed away on December 4, 2023, at Greenway Manor Nursing Home in Spring Green after a short illness. She was born on February 27, 1936, the daughter of Reuben and Johanna (Bodendein) Kraemer. She married Duane Radel on April 16, 1955, in Spring Green. She graduated from Spring Green High School and worked several jobs over the years, some while dairy farming with her husband and some after. Some of her jobs included cooking at Round Barn Restaurant and the Arena Elementary School. In later years she was a sales representative for Lands’ End in Cross Plains. Monica was a very active member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Spring Green. Monica and Duane were well known in the area for their raspberry patch making many customers very happy. She enjoyed gardening, her flower gardens, as well as playing cards. She is survived by her children, Kim (Jeanine), Fred, Vicki (Jay) Edwards, Kevin (LaDonna), Mary Jo (Roger) Halchin, and Cindy Ranson. She is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marcie Banker, Janet Nelson, Mary Porter, Sharon (Tom) Swinehart; brothers, Rick (Phyllis) Kraemer, Ron Kraemer; sister and brother-in-law, Bill and Eloise Nicholson; and sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Radel and Loraine Feiner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; her parents; grandson, Spencer Radel; brothers in law, Gary Banker, Gerald Nelson, John Porter; sister-in-law, Kay Kraemer; and Duane’s siblings and their spouses.   A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Spring Green with burial in the church cemetery.
