Obituaries

Jeanne L Wilkinson Jeanne L Wilkinson, age 54 of Arena, passed away at UW Hospital surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 18, 2023.  She was born July 20, 1969, in Madrid, Spain, to George T. and Brenda (Johnson) Weilenmann. She was preceded in her death by her father George T. Weilenmann, and her best friend Karen McGee.  She was survived by her mother, Brenda Blankenship of Hurricane, West Virginia; her loving husband and soulmate, Joseph W. Wilkinson of Arena; her children, Amber Kreuger of Spring Green and Crystal Johnson (Ray) of Arena;  two sisters, Michele Rene Wright and Denise (Mitchell) Tucker of Hurricane, West Virginia; a half-brother, George Weilenmann of Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Mikkayla White (Austin), Dominic White (Rachel), both of Lone Rock, Malerie Jeffries, and Ryan Johnson Jr., both of Arena; three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Paisley, and Greyson. (Bonus grand and great-grandchildren, Thea, Freya, and Oriana), her aunt Jeanne (Martin) Bogardus of New Jersey; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.  Jeanne devoted her life to her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was so proud of every one of them. She will be remembered for her heart of gold and for being there for everyone, no matter the situation. She was a great listener and always had great advice even though it was hard to get her to take her own at times. She was loved so much, by so many and will be deeply missed by all.  Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home in Spring Green with burial in the Arena Cemetery.
