Dianne (Potter) Walters-Butler Dianne (Potter) Walters-Butler passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, in Richland Center. Dianne was born in Riverdale, Maryland, on April 21, 1947, at 11:53 a.m. in a Seventh Day Adventist Hospital around the corner from where her mother lived. Dianne was a multifaceted woman with many accomplishments. She was a Shorthorn Lassie Queen at age 16, a bookkeeper for her husband’s construction company, a published author, a professional storyteller, a standup comedian and improv performer, a chef in a 4-star restaurant, department manager of a bookstore and a backup singer. She was a friend of Bill W since 1986 as well. Dianne was talented in fabric arts- spinning wool, hand dying, weaving and crocheting. She was a master practitioner of NLP, psychodrama, Touch for Health & reiki. She was a gifted Spiritual Counselor and medium since 1990 with clients around the world. Dianne leaves behind a son, Rick (Deb) Walters; a daughter, Pheobe Walters; three grandchildren: Richard III, Danielle and Damian; four great-grandchildren: Angel, Damian, Nephilim and Sara. Also, her two brothers, Paul and Phillip Potter, and many members of her Heart family and friends. Dianne looks forward to being greeted on the other side buy her beloved Partner and Wife of over 35 years, Becky Hendricks; by her daughter, Sara; her parents, Paul and Grace Potter, and her sister-in-law, Regina, as well as many friends close to her heart. Her message to you all is “Love Ya!” A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 12 noon until 1 p.m. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
