Obituary: Dannie Bass
Dannie Bass, age 71 of LaValle, WI passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, at his home with his wife Patsy, nephew Joe and niece Brenda by his side.
Dannie was born December 8, 1951, in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, the son of Durlin and Mildred (Jackson) Bass. He really enjoyed hunting and gardening. He enjoyed helping his wife with canning and making sauerkraut with his brother Kenneth and friend Dennis. Dannie was a Hobby farmer; he loved the outdoors and most of all spending time with his wife. They had 10 years of their life together on the farm after their retirement. He worked with Friede and Associates Construction for 33 years. Roger Friede was a great person to work for and he still is today. As he is still helping with things that need to be done around the farm. Also, for the crew he is sending out to help. Thank you too all!
Dannie is survived by his wife of 54 years Patsy, brother Charles and Uncle Raymond (Mary) Jackson; many numerous nieces, nephews, and family. He is also survived by his brother and sisters-in-law; Kathy (Jim) Ford, Mary, Carol, and Bill. Along with special nephew and niece, Joe and Brenda Bass, Vicki Pauls; who was his niece and nurse who was there for him always. Also, Pastor Deb Sammons for all she did and for coming out to the house to baptize both Dannie and Patsy out at the farm. Dannie also had many special friends that came to visit him, Jan, Troy and Tammy Timm, Lisa Minor, Harold Burdick, Lloyd Fuller, Len and Butch Clark, Jim Dorow and most of all Dennis Dorow who was always there for Dan all the way through the end.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John, Dennis, Steven, Kenneth, Ronald, and Kieth; his amazing Father-in-law Russell Radloff, mother-in-law Leona, brother-in-law Russell Jr. and his sister-in-law Nadine Bass.
At this time no services are planned.
