LeRoy Herbert Heiser LeRoy Herbert Heiser, age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 14, 2023, surrounded by the ones he loved at his home in Loganville. He was born May 20, 1930, in Loganville to the late Roman and Caroline (Dischler) Heiser. On December 2, 1978, LeRoy was united in marriage to Michelle Heiser. In this union of marriage, they had five children, Shem (Krystal) Heiser, Medea (Matt) Townsend, Mary  (Brian) Brey, Megan (Shaun) Haag, Marie (Adam) Plowman. Six grandchildren, Summer, Huston, Addison, Keagan, Mason, and Jaxon. Unlimited fur babies. LeRoy was a farmer for many years. His children have many memories of hearing the tractor coming in the driveway knowing they needed to be in the barn by the time he got back. He enjoyed many fishing trips after milking with kids and wife to White Mound. Later in life he enjoyed going out on the boat with his grandkids and wife, although most of the time was spent putting the worm on the hook. LeRoy and his wife Michelle enjoyed beginning their day with a friendly game of Yahtzee, yes, he won most of the time, however he would never admit to that. He enjoyed playing cards with family, friends, and bowling in a league at the Palace Bar and Bowl. He enjoyed gardening from the crack of dawn until the sun went down. He truly enjoyed cutting wood with the family making sure that his family had warmth through the winters. He enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids sporting events, whether it was in person, on video, or just hearing the stories. LeRoy is also survived by his brothers, Melvin and Marvin (Judy) Heiser; sisters-in-law, Monica (Douglas) Bair, Monique Heiser and Glen Wong; brothers-in-law, Sean (Sandy) Heiser, Shane Heiser and Elmer Kilian. He was preceded in death by brother and sisters Valeria and Thomas Griffith, Margaret and Frank Lucht, Carolyn Kilian, Clarence and Lori Heiser, Roman and Florence Heiser, Victor Heiser, Viator Heiser, Kenneth and Ann Heiser, Bernard Heiser.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center, Agrace Hospice, and Dr Collins with the Plain Medical Clinic.
