Math team receives winning news

In March, numerous Webb Middle School sixth through eighth grade students participated in the Wisconsin Mathematics Council State Math Contest. Recently, the school received the news that the 7th/8th-grade math team earned first place in the team competition, along with several individual top-place finishers. All students dedicated many weeks during their ACHIEVE time preparing for this competition.

The winning team consisted of Madeline Meyer, Andrew Bauer, Max Monte, Sam Bauer, Sydney Olson, Lincoln Benish, Abigail Favia and Aiden Berg.

Individual state placings were: Madeline Meyer - 1st Place State Individual, Andrew Bauer - 3rd Place, Max Monte - 4th Place, Sam Bauer - 5th Place, and Sydney Olson - 10th Place.
