Raymond A. Brey Raymond A. Brey, age 83 of Plain, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Sauk Prairie Healthcare. He was born on February 18, 1940, the son of Herman and Lucille (Gruber) Brey. Raymond worked as a carpenter at Schluter Construction for many years. He enjoyed golf, bowling, and playing six hand Euchre with the Wednesday afternoon crew. He is survived by two brothers, Randy (Teresa) Brey, Alan (Mary) Brey; three sisters, Charlee Linscheid, Bobbi (Rick) Anderson, Sherri (Francis) Hrubes; several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bonnie Drone and Marlene Brey (infant); a brother, Vic; sister-in-law, Jacquie Brey; brothers-in-law, Tom Drone and Donnie Linscheid. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain. Fr. Garrett Kau officiated with burial in the church cemetery.
