Anita A. Bindl
Anita A. Bindl, age 91 of Spring Green, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at her residence after living a long wonderful life. She was born on September 10, 1931, the daughter of Albert and Clara (Gruber) Bayer of Plain. Anita was married on March 28, 1951, to Leo Bindl. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, past president of St. John’s PCCW and served 30 years on the Spring Green Town Board starting in 1983. Anita loved spending time with her family, playing Euchre and watching the Green Bay Packers. Survivors include her nine children, Tim (Alice), Terry (Cindy), Tom (Jean), Ted (Teresa), Mark (Angie) Bindl all of Spring Green, Carol (Jim) Yttri of Cross Plains, Karen Shelton and Scott James of Spring Green, Dave (Kiki) Bindl of Verona, Dean (Beanie) Bindl of Spring Green; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Annette Bindl of Wausau; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Clara Bayer; her husband, Leo Bindl; two brothers, Florian “Ozzie” and Albert Bayer; a sister, Lorraine Lawrence; a great-granddaughter, Joan Aron; two sisters-in-law, Genevieve Weidner Mary Dischler; five brothers-in-law, Francis, Bernard, John, Sylvester and Larry Bindl. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Spring Green. Fr. Garrett Kau officiated with burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John’s Catholic School. Online condolences available at www.staffordfuneralhomes.com.
