Obituary: Joseph L White

Joseph L White 59, of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Reedsburg Area Medical Center.  Joe was born November 3, 1963 in Menomonie, WI to Donald E. and Mary L. (Amundson) White.  Joe graduated from Webb High School in Reedsburg in 1982, and then served in the U.S. Air Force from March of 1983 to July 1992.  Joe was married to Annmarie Schell in October 1995 in Baraboo, WI.  Joe worked as an electrician for Fiskars, R.R. Donnelley (formerly Perry Printing) and most recently at RenewAire LLC in Waunakee.

Joe loved his family and was an avid reader and collector of Marvel & DC comics.  His kids all talk about his fascination with superheroes.  He would often be seen wearing a Hulk or Spiderman t-shirt.

In addition to his wife Annmarie, Joe is survived by three sons, Seth, Sean and Cody, and his daughter Rachel.  Joe is also survived by his parents, his brother Todd White (wife Darcy), his sister Helen Prohaska (husband Joe), in addition to grandchildren Savannah, Easton, Anna, Anakah, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him deeply.

Funeral Services with military rites for Joe will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.  Chaplain Mike Amberg of SSM Home Health Hospice will officiate.  Visitation will also be on Saturday, at the funeral home from 9:30 until the time of service.  Burial will take place at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery in Reedsburg.
