Obituary: Michael “Guber” Edward Wagner

Michael “Guber” Edward Wagner, age 47, of Cazenovia, formerly of Hillpoint, WI, passed away on December 31, 2022. Mike was born on July 12, 1975 in Reedsburg, the son of Ed Wagner and Jan (Parrish) Kast. He was a 1993 graduate of Weston High School. He spent his career working in construction. Following graduation, Mike went to work for Muchow Heating and Cooling, Reedsburg. He owned his own heating company for years before deciding to switch into the concrete field. Mike loved hunting and fishing, both close to home and on trips with family and friends. He also enjoyed attending local sporting events and other outdoor activities.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Gladys Wagner, and Theron Parrish.

Mike is survived by his son, Jake Wagner; his parents Jan and Mark Kast, and Ed and Marie Wagner; grandmother, Evelyn Parrish; siblings, Tony (Lori) Burns, Tammy Burns, Michelle (Rob) Gardner, Courtney (Andy) Stelter, Mark (Mary) Kast Jr., Matt Kast, Nathan (Taylor) Wagner; along with many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at St. John Lutheran Church in Hillpoint. Rev. Conrad Prell, Assistant Pastor of St. John Church, will be the officiant. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials be given to assist the family with funeral expenses.
