Wisconsin Heights single campus will use solar power

The Wisconsin Heights new single campus will use renewable energy soon, as the board voted unanimously last week to install a 415 kilowatt solar power system. It will offset 38 percent of the building’s annual electrical usage. Full Spectrum Solar, a Madison company, will complete the installation. The board first discussed solar installations last January at a meeting, where they heard a presentation from Full Spectrum Solar. The cost then was estimated at $750,000 to $800,000.
