They came in on the west coast. When they arrived, they found the Native Americans. They greeted each other even though they didn’t know who each other was. They taught each other things they know. They had gotten a lot of food. They had so much food they decided to have a feast, so they sat at a long table and had a feast. It is called Thanksgiving because the Pilgrims and the Native Americans were thankful for all their food. You need 1 card for each person. Whoever  has the lowest card loses a quarter.If you lose all of your quarters you’re out.You should try to get a 9 or a 10. Well, here is your answer: A long time ago, Native Americans lived in America. They only knew how to hunt and provide things from nature. One day that all changed.  When the Pilgrims came with nearly a 1,000 men, women, and children aboard searching for new land. The Pilgrims taught the Native Americans to grow crops and foods! Thanksgiving was the celebration of the first harvest.  They had foods like: turkey (of course!), mashed potatoes, beans and corn. The turkey was the main part of the meal. Thank you Pilgrims!  Here are some facts:  1. There was plenty of fish in the rivers and lots of wild berries. 2. And when I do go, I play with my cousins and go play with a device and I eat turkey and potatoes, peas, jello, stuffing and soda. And sometimes I go to my aunt’s house and I eat a turkey and I eat. The Native Americans showed them how to grow crops, how to hunt, and how to dance. The Pilgrims were really happy that they weren’t dying anymore. They decided to have a big party to celebrate. They had turkey, fruits, and vegetables. They called it Thanksgiving. Then they said that they bet there will never be problems between Englishmen and Native Americans. Then he looked at the map to get to his friends’ house and he played a bunch of games there. Then it was dinner time and Turkey was eating soup and he ate all of it. Then they all ate dessert, they had pie. Then he went to Horse’s house and they both had a race outside. Then Turkey got too tired so Horse said you can hop on my back and I will take you for a ride. Then he went to Sheep and Goat house. And they ate soup that had flowers and weeds. And Turkey gobbled it all up. Then they play hide and seek inside. Then Turkey went to Cow’s house and he was late for dinner. But he still had time to eat dessert. And for dessert they had ice cream on a cone. Then he went to Mouse’s house. And for dinner they had bird seeds, soup and berries. And they had a big parade outside. And Turkey was in the front of the parade. And all of his friends came to the parade. My two aunts and one uncle come too. When lunch is done we all go downstairs and there is turkey, cranberry sauce, cheesy potatoes and more. After lunch we eat pie, there is pumpkin pie and chocolate pie with cool whip. After that, me and my brother color Thanksgiving placemats while we talk with family.
