Sauk Prairie teachers earn credit for pandemic work

The Sauk Prairie School Board voted unanimously last Monday to award professional development credit to teachers for their work over the past two years during the pandemic. Each teacher will be able to bank up to 30 professional development hours—15 per year—towards their education. Resident Mitch Maier submitted a list of high school library books to the board that he felt should be banned. “That’s pornography,” said Maier, when describing one of the books. The board accepted Maier’s letter and will respond appropriately.
