Young Authors Contest winners

In November, Sauk Prairie Schools students in grades 3 through 5  were invited to submit entries to the Young Authors Contest, a writing contest sponsored by the Central Wisconsin Talented and Gifted Consortium.  Writing is submitted from ten area school districts.  Categories included Creative Writing, Personal Narrative, Persuasive Writing, and Poetry. There were many entries submitted, and judging was done in February. Congratulations to these students whose entries were chosen as winners from Sauk Prairie.  Each student received a certificate and will receive an anthology, which includes the winning entries from all students.   Grand Avenue (top): Eva Sutherland - Creative Writing, Giuliana Pacholke - Poetry Abbey Brereton - Poetry, Caprina Keiser - Poetry Easton Krigbaum - Personal Narrative, Dalton Cichanowicz - Personal Narrative, Sylvan Hanson - Creative Writing Rosalynn Troxel - Creative Writing, Alex Reible - Creative Writing Ryette Smith - Poetry, Olivia Erickson - Personal Narrative Elaine Stieve - Creative Writing, Cooper Considine - Poetry Eloise Nelson – Poetry   Tower Rock (lower right): Dylan Rhyner - Personal Narrative Jabriel Person - Personal Narrative Veronica Cook, Creative Writing Amelia Schell, Argumentative Writing Mason Rosenbaum - Argumentative Writing Mia Sofia Mata Rodriguez - Personal Narrative   Merrimac Community School (below): Audrey Sandberg - Creative Writing Emerson Raschick – Poetry Kaden Woods - Personal Narrative Mark Nauertz - Creative Writing Evelyn Klecker - Poetry
