Obituary: Peter T. Mazur
Peter Thomas Mazur, 59, of Reedsburg, formerly of Kenosha, peacefully entered his eternal life on November 23, 2021 at home with family by his side. Pete was born in Kenosha, WI on July 15, 1962 to Thomas Mazur Jr. and Patricia Questard. Pete married his longtime love, Diane Meyer, on April 10, 2015 in Reedsburg, and together they created many special memories. For 17 years, Pete enjoyed and took pride in working for Seats Inc. He made many friendships and cherished them all. Pete will forever be remembered as the one to bring the laughs and the gas to every occasion. He loved to be with friends and family enjoying the simple things in life. To see an eagle a day was one of his life goals. Pete was happiest being surrounded by nature with a fishing pole in hand, especially if he had any of his kids or grandkids there. Pete enjoyed spending his weekends at the local racetracks with his family watching and helping his son, Josh, race his car. He shared his love of music with his son, Andrew and his daughter, Erica. He could talk for hours with his daughter, Lesa. Thank you Pete for all the good times, you fought a good fight and we are all so thankful we shared one last party with you!
Pete is survived by his parents: Thomas (Lois) Mazur, Patricia Questard; his children: Josh (Casey) Mazur, Andrew Mazur, Erica Lindner, Lesa (Jeremy) Lustilla, Chad (Michelle) Wobschall; his twelve grandchildren; a great grandson; his siblings: Michelle Daoust, Kristina (Greg) Hermanson, Jon (Michelle) Mazur; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Mazur; his grandparents, and his loving dogs. The family of Pete would like to thank Agrace for all the compassion and care they showed.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Father Patrick Wendler officiating. There will be a visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and plants donations to the family would be appreciated. The Hoof Funeral Home is serving the family.
