Sauk Prairie schools Gifted and Talented Department recognizes students, treats them to breakfast, pizza
On October 11, the Sauk Prairie Schools Gifted and Talented Department honored students who had been selected by previous teachers as showing strong leadership skills.
The seventh-grade leaders were treated to breakfast, and the eighth grade leaders enjoyed a pizza lunch. Each group then discussed what skills good leaders possess, such as initiative, adaptability, communication, organization, empathy, critical thinking, and mediation. They also talked about leadership opportunities that are or will be available to them as they move through Sauk Prairie Schools. Congratulations to these students.
