Thomas J. Hosking

BLACK EARTH - Thomas J. Hosking, 81, of Black Earth, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021.  He was married to Dolores Roberts on Jan. 18, 1964.  Tom worked for Oscar Mayer for 42 years as a millwright and electrical engineer.  He loved figuring out how to make things work or work better.  Tom and Dolores raised three children, Tommy (Angie) Hosking, Kristin (Raymond) Darrow and Jon (Ashley) Hosking.  Tom also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Michael Darrow, Justin (Crystal) Darrow, Joseph (Hadja Barry) Darrow, Alycia Hosking and Myles Hosking; and his great-grandchildren, Nolan, Layla, Bella, Zoela, Keagan and Zavi Darrow.  He is further survived by his twin brother, Ted (Joanne) Hosking; sisters, Margreth (Jerry) Blaser and Julie (Fred) Marti; brother, Dave (Jane) Hosking; brother-in-law and lifelong friend, Danny (Lin) Roberts; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Lester) Baker, Donna (Linus) Schoepp, Dixie (Robert) Drachenberg and Wallis Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Sylvia Hosking; brother, Bill Hosking; sister-in-law, Ellie Hosking; mother and father-in-law, Art and Esther Roberts; brothers-in-law, David Roberts and Douglas Roberts; and sister-in-law, Darleen Boorom.  Per the family’s wishes there will be no formal services.
