Painted Forest opens for Second Sunday event

The Painted Forest will be open for its first Second Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11.

The museum is located at E846 Painted Forest Drive, Wonewoc. Admission is free and activities will take place rain or shine.

This weekend will feature Reedsburg ArtsLink.

Artist Mary Dickey will offer a make-and-take succulent planter craft for $5. There are limited supplies so register in advance at reedsburgartslink.org.

The Branding Iron will sell wood-fired pizza from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and Eric do los Santos will play live marimba music from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Edgewood College’s astronomy team will lead a session on rockets from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
