Leaders hold virtual state budget session on April 28

Members of the state’s Joint Committee on Finance will hold public hearings and one virtual hearing in April.

In-person meetings will not be in this area, but locals can check out the virtual session, which will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 28.

Hearings give the public a chance to share what they find to be most important expense-wise for the next two years.

Participants will be asked to fill out a form before they make their statement.

Sessions are being facilitated by committee co-chairs Sen. Howard Marklein, R-Spring Green, and Rep. Mark Born, R-Beaver Dam.
