Robert “Bob” D. Laird

Robert “Bob” D. Laird, age 74, of Spring Green reunited with his beloved wife on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 following a long illness. Bob was born on August 19, 1947 in Otho, Iowa to Robert Laird and Edith Jeys/Laird (Dean) Keele. He was the oldest of nine children. He went to school in Milwaukee for architecture and was a Vietnam Army Veteran. On May 20, 1972 he married Sharon M. (Kelter) Laird. He worked at Litho Productions as a book bindery foreman for 35 years, a career he loved. Bob was known as a person who was quick to temper, quicker to love, and very generous. He loved camping with family especially at the annual reunions, wood working, ships, kayaking, and tinkering. His love for Sharon was only rivaled by his love for all things John Wayne and western movies. Survivors include three daughters, Heather Laird (Mark Teslik) grandson, Tom Teslik; Autumn Laird, Rosalie Laird (Shawn Fortin); granddaughter, Jenny Owens; eight siblings, Bruce Keele, Chris Laird, Kathy (Terry) Kennedy, Coleen (Butch) Moen, Joel Keele, Ken (Linda) Keele, Loren (Julie) Keele Tim (Jen) Keele; sister-in-law, Patricia (Henry) Russell; brother-in-law, Ken (Mary) Kelter; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon, and many other family and friends.  A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
