State driver licenses are most common form of ID used at polls
According to the State, driver’s licenses are the most frequently used form of ID at voter polls.
Wisconsin residents also frequently show IDs obtained strictly for voting. These IDs are provided for free through DMV service centers.
The State released these details in light of the primary election coming up this month.
Those who don’t have either form of ID are encouraged to look into it now if they plan to vote on Feb. 16 or later this spring in the general election.
