DATCP launches virtual support groups for farmers

To help farmers access mental health resources, the Wisconsin Farm Center has started virtual support groups.

These groups will begin in February and will be offered at different times to accommodate diverse schedules.

They will begin at 8 p.m. the fourth Monday of the month, 1 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month and 8 p.m. the third Thursday of the month (for farm couples only).

Access is free and each session will run an hour to an hour and a half. Sessions are limited to 20 participants, but couples count as one participant.

Meetings will take place over Zoom. To register, visit https://FarmCenter.wi.gov.

The Farm Center is run through the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.
