Daniel T. Wilson Daniel T. Wilson, age 62, of Lone Rock, went to heaven on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at home surrounded by family. He was born on June 14, 1958, in Richland Center, the son of Gordon and Karen (Dring) Wilson. Dan graduated from River Valley High School in 1976 and began working for Eddie Hardy farms, Ron Schmitt farms, and Grell Lumber Mill. Dan worked for Suemnicht’s Cheese Factory, drove fuel truck along with his dad for Danco now Frontier FS, and was a part time janitor at River Valley Schools while attending high school. Dan started on the Lone Rock Fire Department in 1989, acting as assistant chief for 17 years, chief for six months, and safety officer for the last five years. In 1990 he started as an EMS driver and became a licensed EMT in 1994, eventually acting as head of EMS for 19 years. Dan began working for the Village of Lone Rock in 1995. On October 25, 1980, Dan married the love of his life, Rhonda Wilson, at the Park Street Christian Church in Richland Center. He loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He liked attending his grandchildren’s sports and school events. Dan enjoyed bowling, bean bags, playing cards, camping, hunting, fishing, fighting fires, saving lives, and helping people. Dan loved going to the Dells Raceway especially for Labor of Doom.  He spent his time volunteering at Star Spangled Celebration, Farm Progress Days, Country in the Country, Richland County Fair, umpiring and coaching softball and baseball. Dan leaves many joyous memories with wife Rhonda of Lone Rock; children: Justin (Lisa) of Prairie du Sac, Amanda (Brian) Freel of Spring Green, and Anthony of Dodgeville; grandchildren: Thomas Freel, Hunter Freel, Serenity Vanscoy, Kaydence Wilson, Oaklee Wilson, Liberty Wilson, Liam Wilson;  siblings: Dennis (Connie) Wilson of Richland Center, Denise (Dale) Heisz of Fennimore, David (Annrea) of California, Dwayne (Dorothy) of Lone Rock, Dale (Susan) of Spring Green, Debra (Tysen) Neuhiesel of Plain, Douglas (Amy) of Reedsburg, Dawn (Donald) Pfeil of Lone Rock; sister-in-law: Elaine (Wilson) Hansen of Deforest; brother-in-law: Raymond (Patsy) Wilson of Richland Center; honorary son:  Jon Taylor of Morristown, Tennessee; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends. Dan was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents: Orville and Dorothy Dring and Leonard and Violet Wilson; by parents: Gordon and Karen (Dring) Wilson; father and mother-in-law: Raymond P. Wilson, Sr. and Sharon Wilson; brother: Darrin Wilson; two brothers-in-law:  Larry Prem and Steven Hansen; friend and co-worker: Tim ‘Pipe’ Adams; and fur baby: Sassy. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the Richland Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 4 until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements. prattfuneralservice.com
