Kurtz appointed to joint finance committee

Rep. Tony Kurtz, R-Wonewoc, has been added to the Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee.

As part of the committee, he will review and submit input regarding the state budget.

 “This next budget is going to be challenge, and I am honored to be appointed to serve on this committee, to take up the challenge and to be an advocate for how the hard earned tax dollars the State receives get spent,” he said in a statement. “I also believe the representation that rural Wisconsin has on this committee will bode well for our rural communities.”

Kurtz was first elected to the Assembly in 2018.
