Traffic stop results in 3rd OWI charge

A Richland Center man faces a third-offense operating while intoxicated charge following a traffic stop at 6:44 p.m. Nov. 1.

According to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, the dispatch center was notified of a vehicle driving all over the roadway and going at various speeds on Highway 33 in the town of Excelsior. Deputies located the vehicle and stopped it in the city of Reedsburg. The operator was identified as Dwayne Johnson, 46. Deputies noticed signs of impairment and administered field sobriety tests. As a result, Johnson was arrested.
