Obituary: Katherine ‘Kathy” Naughtin-Howley

Katherine “Kathy” Naughtin-Howley, age 83, of Reedsburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg. She was born on February 13, 1937 in Winfield Township, Sauk County, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Anna V. (Biesek) Wagner. She was united in marriage to Robert D. Howley on May 2, 1992 at St. James Catholic Church in Sussex. She was employed as a secretary/bookkeeper for Hansen Water Works in Menomonee Falls. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, former member of the Catholic Daughters. Her strong faith and to her Blessed Mother were very important to her. She was also a former member of the Red Hat Ladies, and the Reedsburg VFW Auxiliary. She was a very social person and enjoyed spending time with her friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Dale Naughtin in 1989; and her sisters Angie, Lucille, Mary, Rita, Betty and Janet.

She is survived by her husband Robert of Reedsburg; children Rick (Brenda) Naughtin of Hubertus, and Tom Naughtin (girlfriend Nikki Maxey) of Sussex; grandchildren Jason (Brittany) Naughtin, Dana (Jared) Harmon, and Sean (Arianna) Naughtin; great-grandchildren Nolan Naughtin, and Charlie and Blake Naughtin; step-son Tom (Shannon) Howley; step-grandchildren Dylan, Jarrett, Desirae and Jovanna; several nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathy will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg with Father Pat Wendler officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
