Allan D. Held Sr.

Allan D. Held Sr., age 64, of Reedsburg, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in his home. He was born on November 10, 1955 in Reedsburg, the son of Gilbert and Caroline (Hesse) Held. Al was a 1974 graduate of Webb High School. On March 2, 2007, he was married to the former Gail F. Renkor. Al owned his own businesses in the roofing and construction industry. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, turkey hunting, gardening and canning.

Survivors include his wife: Gail; three children: Allan Held Jr. (Jenna); Douglas Held and Keri Held (Nate), all of Reedsburg; his stepdaughter: Emilee (Jon) Greenwood, of LaCrosse; eight grandchildren; three brothers: Jeff (Connie) Held, of Watertown; Mike (Rhonda) Held, of Reedsburg; Robert (Jan) Held, of Reedsburg; one sister: Sandra (Garland) Strutz, of Reedsburg; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
